I'm the city government reporter for The Oklahoman. I was born and raised in Northeast Oklahoma, spending most of my childhood in Muskogee, OK (yes, I am an Okie from Muskogee). I have a passion for telling impactful, local stories and see my reporting as a public service. More about me, I love spending time with my church family, thoroughly enjoy a good book, cup of coffee or tea, and curling up on my couch. You can also find me traveling and exploring the outdoors as much as possible. All of this is infinitely better when joined by my husband and daughter.
